Most jobs are completed in one to two site visits, with full curing time ranging from 5 to 14 days depending on weather and conditions.
What surfaces can your rubber paving be applied to?

How long does the pool stair coating last?

The textured surface is designed for better grip. However, like any wet surface, we always recommend using caution.

Absolutely. Our materials are chemical-resistant and safe for both saltwater and chlorine pools—just be sure to maintain proper water chemistry.
What maintenance is required?
Clean regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals and high-pressure washers. If using a pool robot, ensure it’s properly calibrated to prevent damage.
Cost & Warranty
How much does a typical project cost?
Pool stair repairs usually start at $3,000 + HST, with final pricing based on condition, size, and project scope. We offer free estimates for accurate quoting and its as easy as sending a few photos.
Is there a warranty?
Yes! We provide a 2-year limited warranty on all projects. This does not cover damage caused by misuse, robot vacuums, or external impacts (e.g., fireworks, falling stones).
Are there any warranty exclusions?
Yes. We do not cover damages caused by external impacts, improper maintenance, or robotic pool vacuums. We’re also not responsible for water or chemical costs associated with refilling or balancing your pool.
Installation & Process
How do I get a quote or book a service?
You can request a quote through our website by uploading photos of your stairs and project details. Alternatively, email us at info@proshieldcoatingsinc.com with your location, stair photos, and any notes (e.g., changing the liner or specific damage).
Do I need to prepare anything before installation?
Yes. Your pool must be drained to four (4) inches below the stairs before we begin. We only need access to power and water if available. If you’re keeping the liner, drain to the shallow end and leave 2 inches of water across the bottom.
When can I use my pool after installation?
Allow 4 days for full curing before refilling with water and chemicals to ensure long-term durability and chemical resistance.
